Looks like it's getting serious! Taylor Swift introduced her new boyfriend, Robert F. Kennedy’s grandson Conor Kennedy, to her parents last week, based on a photo a Twitter user posted of the two couples dining together at a restaurant in Nashville, Us Weekly reports.

No word on exactly how long Taylor, 22, and Conor, 18, have been together, but Taylor's been spotted hanging with the Kennedys since July 4. "She is pretty head over heels," a source tells Us Weekly of Swift. "It's really puppy love right now."

With both Taylor and Conor being so young -- and Taylor's long string of ex-boyfriends -- we have a feeling Conor will end up as a muse for a Taylor Swift breakup song in no time. But in the meantime, how long do you wait to introduce your significant other to your parents? Is one month too soon?

Don't have one yet, but when I do, they will NEVER meet my parents. Not in a million years.

My parents already know my S.O. before we start dating.

I do not think this serves anyone well. This will not last just like the others.

I said 6-12 months because you need to get to know the person first. You don't know a person in a months time, this is how so many people get let down and the parents meet many lovers of their children. A years time would be an appropriate time to introduce your lover to your parents.

I don't think it's about months, usually when it's agreed upon that the parents need to be introduced, it's usually a sign that the relationship is getting serious. Plus in this case we are talking about high profile people.

Why is meeting the parents such a big deal?

"Hey Mom, this is my boyfriend." -- me
"It's a pleasure to meet you." -- boyfriend
"Aw, you two go have fun, great meeting you." --mom
"But not too much fun!!!" -- dad

    See, was that so scary?

Because, some parents don't allow their children to date until college.

    Like mine.

It's not a big deal for my Dad to meet a guy I'm with; conversely, I'd get pretty nervous meeting his family.

No option for under one month? A lot of times my girlfriends either already know my parents or will meet them after not too long. It's really not that big of a deal and shouldn't be made to mean more than it does.

And holy cow what 22 year old girl dates an 18 year old guy? Seems kind of weird.

For me it really just depends how close I am to my partner already, and how exactly the relationship is going.

I think any time less than several months is too soon. How can you be a serious, exclusive couple after only one month? If your not, why bother introducing them to your parents?

I think that Swift only starts dating so she can have what to write about.

Let at least two seasons past, and if your significant other is still there with you; maybe there's some staying power in that person.

Usually, my grandmother, whom I live with, meets my boyfriend after about a week of us dating. She deems it necessary to see whether or not she thinks they are worth my time. I do value her opinion, though.

You are wise, your mom will always be there for you and only ever wants what's best for you so yeah, she's give you her honest opinion or gut instinct! :)

She doesn't approve of my best freind. But him and I are nothing more then freinds. My mom has been both a farther and mother to me my whole life. I'm extremely close to her.
