Taylor Swift is at it again -- not just making music, but using her tunes as a platform to dish a little dirt on a former suitor. No one needs to guess what the oh-so subtly titled first single off her new album, “Never Ever Getting Back Together,” is about. But the burning question that’s sweeping the blog-o-sphere... is who is the song about?

Odds are it’s not an ode to her one-time love John Mayer. She already lambasted him in the track “Dear John” off of her “Speak Now” CD. But there’s a long list of other Hollywood hunks who just might be the target of the tune. After all, Swift has been linked to Joe Jonas, Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner in the past, too.
And while she admits that the song is based on news that one of her on-again, off-again boyfriends might want to reunite, that’s all she’s saying. For now, she’s staying tight-lipped about the identity of her inspirational ex, but maybe there will be more clues when her album “Red” drops on October 22.

One thing’s for sure, Conor Kennedy, who’s rumored to be her new beau, better watch out. While it may seem romantic that Swift just bought a $5 million vacation house not far from his legendary family compound in Cape Cod, Massachusetts, she might be setting up a surveillance area instead of a love nest. After all, she’s going to need fodder for her next album, and there’s no one better than a Kennedy to serve as her muse.
