We know. Not everyone loves Taylor Swift, and some of you might still be frustrated that this 21-year-old girl-next-door actually won Album of the Year a couple of years ago.

But hey, at least she's using her powers for good!

According to Hollywood Life, the young Grammy winner decided to sell tickets to rehearsals for the last show of her tour, which took place in Nashville on Saturday, and she will donate all of the proceeds to victims of last month's Alabama tornadoes.

She reportedly raised more than $750,000 for the charity on ticket sales alone. Money raised selling merchandise was also donated to charity.

I'm a rocker kind of girl, but I've never not liked Taylor Swift.

She seems like a sweetie. I'm so glad she did this. I do appreciate her talent as well and that she writes her own music. It says a lot about her. I really don't understand why people don't like her. You don't have to be a country fan to appreciate her.

've always liked her. She's a real good kiddo. I'm a 40 year dad and uncle and would want my niece to listen to Taylor any day than Miley. Taylor is is grounded, warm hearted, and has values. Her donating this kind of money shows what a great girl she is.Now if only more artists would follow her example to help these families out.I

I have always liked her, and I pray that others will step up to the plate and do the same such as Obama's rap buddies and the Hollywood elite and their ilk. But don't hold your breath on that one because as, like the narrcissist in chief, they will not go across the street to help anyone but themselves. Maybe Common can write a song about how evil God is for the tornado. Please continue to pray for all the victims of this horrid event.

^ Exactly. I can tolerate her music. She's not the only artist to be "cross-over".
Nickelback and Avril Lavigne were both slated to be "country" at first too.
They're all pretty great. It's all about marketing and which sound fits them best to sell...
Whatever music really is to the industry - it's essentially ideals in musical format.
    Nothing more or less.

It doesn't hurt she's pretty good looking and has actual talent of sorts, either.

Hellz naw. How about helping Japan, too? And not just by selling tickets. How about she DONATES her gazzillions and billions of dollars to help them instead cuz we all know she won't sell enough to raise anything more than a few bucks cuz she SUX! Bleh.

How do you know she didn't donate money to Japan? I'm a rocker girl, so I don't go running out to buy Taylor's music, but I don't see any reason to hate her.

I donated to Haiti, Japan, and Katrina. How about you? Did you send anything to Japan? Did you do anything for the victim's in our own country for either Katrina or these devastating storms that have hit the south?

I think most of her songs are good. And she's better than most people on the same income level as her, at least she's trying to help.

Her music is not to my taste and I don't run out and buy her latest music. I'm a rocker girl. But her "sucking" is irrelevant. She at least writes a good portion of her music, which is more than a lot of "artist's" that top the charts do.

My daughter likes her and I can tolerate her music much better than I can tolerate Ke$ha. I make it a point to listen what my both of my kids listen to -- and I can tell you some of it is like nails scratching an old fashioned chalkboard. I'll take Taylor over some of the other stuff any day.

Yes, but I was puzzled by the way you worded the question "now do you like her". I have always liked her. Her life story is so inspirational that it serves as another example of how "the American Dream" still works today. I love how you always see her sitting with her mother in the audience during the country music award shows.

Why on earth would you passionately hate someone you've never met, who's never done anything to you that would remotely call for such a response? (You can turn off the radio or change stations, you know.)

Let's be optimistic that what you really mean is 'I dislike her music, her hair, her good deeds' - whatever - and keep the passionate hate for things like, oh, genocide in Sudan or something. Just sayin'.

What did she do to you? Did she dump you and write a song about you too? So glad you are not one of the victim's of those terrible storms. If you know anyone who was affected, maybe you should tell them to spit on her before accepting her money since she was so awful to you.
