I'm a rocker kind of girl, but I've never not liked Taylor Swift.
She seems like a sweetie. I'm so glad she did this. I do appreciate her talent as well and that she writes her own music. It says a lot about her. I really don't understand why people don't like her. You don't have to be a country fan to appreciate her.

We know. Not everyone loves Taylor Swift, and some of you might still be frustrated that this 21-year-old girl-next-door actually won Album of the Year a couple of years ago.
But hey, at least she's using her powers for good!
According to Hollywood Life, the young Grammy winner decided to sell tickets to rehearsals for the last show of her tour, which took place in Nashville on Saturday, and she will donate all of the proceeds to victims of last month's Alabama tornadoes.
She reportedly raised more than $750,000 for the charity on ticket sales alone. Money raised selling merchandise was also donated to charity.

Nickelback and Avril Lavigne were both slated to be "country" at first too.
They're all pretty great. It's all about marketing and which sound fits them best to sell...
Whatever music really is to the industry - it's essentially ideals in musical format.
Nothing more or less.
It doesn't hurt she's pretty good looking and has actual talent of sorts, either.
I donated to Haiti, Japan, and Katrina. How about you? Did you send anything to Japan? Did you do anything for the victim's in our own country for either Katrina or these devastating storms that have hit the south?
My daughter likes her and I can tolerate her music much better than I can tolerate Ke$ha. I make it a point to listen what my both of my kids listen to -- and I can tell you some of it is like nails scratching an old fashioned chalkboard. I'll take Taylor over some of the other stuff any day.
Let's be optimistic that what you really mean is 'I dislike her music, her hair, her good deeds' - whatever - and keep the passionate hate for things like, oh, genocide in Sudan or something. Just sayin'.
