Taylor Swift has been a breath of fresh air, she deserves all of her success and what comes with it. She is a decent, smart, talented and beautiful young lady. I just really hope and pray that the influences of hollywood do not corrupt her. We already have enough young bad role models for our kids.

She attracted the buyers. Deserving is utterly subjective.

I'm sure people whose idols include the multisexual, slut-drunk, drug addled divas, hate her guts and would vote no. I personally think her music is alright. Nothing shattering but making money isn't strictly about musical prowess anymore. She has the clean, sexy g-n-d thing going for her and it's obviously attractive.

Taylor swift actually writes her own songs and can sing so I think anyone that has both of those qualities deserves that and much more:D

You can hate her because her songs are generally about the same thing, or you can argue that she has no talent, but like it or not, she has millions of fans and those millions of fans go out and buy her albums and download her music. Not to mention she writes her own songs, a likable woman, and a perfect role model for young girls.

I say congratulations are in order. She's earned it.

yes I think that she did deserve it she is an amazing singer/songwriter with amazing songs. songs that people can relate to or at least females can. and they are are things that she has gone through and things that others can relate to which makes it cool. And yes I like her and her music so yeah i am a fan and I support her
