These are two teams who you probably didn't think "World Series" when you heard their names at the beginning of the season.

I live not too far from Philadelphia. Everywhere you go it is Phillies. Cars have the flags on the antennas (also with the Eagles). Walmart, Sears, dollar stores that is all you see. If they don't win the tears will flood the streets.

Me, not into baseball but talk about the Steelers and I get excited! This is Eagle country big big time so you can guess how my Steelers car magnet goes over.

Last night driving back from Bible study we went past a very favorite sports bar. It was packed with fans watching the game. Sometimes I take my magnet off if I think it might be stolen. I know someone who had their Giants magnet stolen.

The Rays are a great story and they make another case that you can put together a winning team without breaking the bank! Hopefully the players won't follow the $$$ and decide to stick around and try to win a few World Series together!

I wanted the Phillies and the Rays from the start of the play-offs. I'm a Yankees fan, and I didn't want to see Torre go to the World Series, because I wouldn't be able to deal with the media, and well, I obviously despise the Sox.

They beat the Sox, so how can I hate them?

I think that they have no pressure on them whatsoever, so all of it falls on the Phillies. Also, they have great pitching, both starting and relief. Upton and Longoria are as hot as anyone has ever been in the postseason.
I think that the Phillies will put up a good fight, but they will lose to the Rays in six games.
So the Rays are my pick.
