Suri Cruise Throws Toy Store Temper Tantrum. Is this just typical child behavior, or is she a spoiled brat?

Judging from the facts, which are scant, I'd say maybe some of both. And I'd have to say I've never discovered the difference between spoiled and well loved. People I love I spoil within my means to do so. But of course I'm sure when people say spoiled they mean overly spoiled, or constantly given their way. But since the facts don't say how calm was so soon restored, I'm for giving Suri the benefit of a doubt. After all, no mention is made that she quieted down after getting her way. Also 5 is still mighty young for the best display of certain values: Sharing. Good manners, publicly as well as privately. Gratitude for your station in life---with the full knowledge that no one gets all of what they might like to have in life, and to be happy if you have all of what you need and at least some of what you want. That you can ask something unreasonable and you won't get it.(Which has only some to do with money.) ___And so far as the makeup, clothing, and shoes go, she's probably trying to imitate mommy. What 5 year old girl doesn't? The makeup is a bit over the top for me, I didn't allow my daughter to start until 12+13. And she didn't wear heels in public. But then, in imitating her mom, she didn't want to, as of course they were to big. But Suri can wear heels that fit and hopefully makeup that is lite. Dressed in some of the best clothes her parents can afford. Good for her, better if she learns more of these good values as she grows.___Oops, almost forgot the pony. What father that could, wouldn't get his 5 yr. old a pony to ride while holding her fathers hand the first time. So long as the child displays enough sense of responsibility and good behavior.
