In 25 years, the "Street Fighter" franchise has released so many games, and versions of games, and spin-offs of versions of sequels of games, that it's unlikely anyone but a hardcore arcade junkie could list them all. Creators have rotated characters, changed the graphics, added locations and specials, but many of the characters and moves stay the same. If you can Hadouken in "Street Fighter II" at the arcade, you can Hadouken in "Street Fighter EX Plus Alpha" at home.

August 30 of this year will mark the 25th anniversary of the release of the original "Street Fighter" game. It was originally released as an arcade game, but was moved to various early home consoles like the Commodore 64 the next year. It wasn't until 1991, when "Street Fighter II" came out, that the franchise really took off. It was literally a billion-dollar enterprise by 1993.

Now go ahead. You're Ryu. Fight!
