Keeping the authentic feel of the original series, plus great story, plus 100 times better special effects equals hit in my book. Can't wait for the next one!

This is the only Star Trek movie I do not (nor will have) on DVD. Even the dreary, self-indulgent "The Motion Picture" is preferable (which is nothing but a two hour promo for the special effects company). Had I seen this in a theatre, I'd have left half way through and asked for a refund; it was excruciating enough trying to sit through the entire mess at home.
I do not like a lot of special effects (spacial effects)
Despite being an Obama supporter you come up with cool stuff
Spock (younger), just wasn't Spock though. Everyone else was very spot on given different circumstances.
