Alexa Vega was 12 years old when she starred in the 2000 film ‘Spy
Kids.’ Next year she’ll reunite with her ‘Spy Kids’ director Robert
Rodriguez on ‘Machete Kills‘ and she’s, uh, a long way from that little 12-year-old girl.

Vega tweeted a photo from the ‘Machete Kills’ set of her in character as Killjoy and, um…yeah, what were we saying again?

In the film, the now-23-year-old stars as the right-hand woman to
Sofia Vergara’s character, Madame Desdemona, a
dominatrix-turned-assassin (if you must, you can see what Vergara looks like in character here).

Vega co-stars in the film with Danny Trejo, Jessica Alba, Mel Gibson,
Damien Bachir, Amber Heard, Vanessa Hudgens and Michelle Rodriguez. So
no shortage of beautiful women.

She's turned into a beautiful woman. Didn't know Trejo was doing a sequel to Machete...will have to watch that one too. The first one was pretty good & gory!
