Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen made surprise appearances at Obama’s final rally before the polls opened. Last night the rapper performed a version of his song “99 Problems,” replacing one word in the chorus with “Mitt,” and the rock legend performed a new song named after the Obama motto “Forward.”

Speaking about his two choices of “support acts” for the night, Obama said that the artists “tell the story of what our country is, but also of what it should be and what it can be."

Jen Psaki, spokeswoman for the Obama campaign, said, "Bruce Springsteen, and some other celebrities who have been helping us, reach a broad audience that sometimes tunes out what's being said by politicians."

Springsteen even got to ride in Air Force One and described the experience as “pretty cool,” although he apologised that the new song was “not the best I’ve ever written.”

I am a republican and even I must say Obama is a success - not for me or the American people but he is a success in terms of what HIS AGENDA is. Obama's agenda is to make sure the United States isn't superior to other countries and that we are equal with them, watch our nuclear war heads continue to reduce as the other countries continue to grow.

If a person with in the media eye, endoreses or supports any elected official. And I do not support that elected offical, then I will simply not support that entertainer. So all those flocking to Obama, I will not watch their movies, I will not listen to their music, and I will not watch their games.
