Spinner Releases Concert Etiquette Guide: What's the Most Important Rule to Follow at a Concert?

This was the last show of the day, I was so tired. I can deal with everything that comes to me at a concert usually, I've had people jump from the stage on top of me, I help crowdsurfers move a long to the front, hell I participate in moshing when the mood strikes :P but it was the fact that I was completely stuck skin on skin with people like 6 feet tall, couldn't even jump around and there was literally no air getting to me so I was like, I've had enough! lmfao.

Then you shouldn't have gone. Personally concert prudes piss me off and I will personally seek out to annoy them in such a way. I've seen others do it too. NO ONE likes a concert prude. My brother at his first concert had stage divers dive on him, he didn't get the hint that he should move but he just laughed it off and enjoyed the experience. I have been punched in the face more than once and have even tried starting a mosh which didn't work since it was a small concert with only 15 people there and the show was early but even at the "worse" moment of a concert 5 rows from the front turned around not even supporting my own weight because that is just how close everyone was with my dress being pulled down, but you know what? the guards give out free water bottles if you ask them and I just get out of thew crowd and cool off. I get extremely dehydrated at concerts because of the lack of hair and the increase in heat from all of the bodies, but I don't bitch about it, I expect it and when I saw Jack White last Thursday it was the first time in 6 years of concerts that I was able to breathe and be in the second row through out the entire concert and sing and dance.

Hmm. Okay. Listen, I am not a concert prude. I wasn't bitching about crowd surfers, people jumping on me, whatever. I was trying to tell you that nothing actually bothers me at a concert (until that one time) The last guy that jumped on top of me, I partied with later. No grudge to him. One time at a concert, this guy accidentally punched me in the face- and now he's my boyfriend.
I was merely complaining about NOT BEING ABLE TO BREATHE, and not being stupid enough to stick around so I'd pass out and get trampled on. People have died trying to watch their favourite bands, and it's not their fault because they're being prudes. And it's not because they shouldn't have went. You're pretty damn ignorant. I didn't bother reading anything else you said, because it's too long and I don't really care.

If you can't breathe get out simple as that I have the same problem, people are more than happy to let you out because that means they can get closer.

I think I would stab someone who started talking about how hot their math teacher is during a quieter song. Hell, during any song. Concerts are where you go to get away from everything else. Embrace it.

I'd hate to go to the concerts you go to when the crowd is louder than the band.

Bahaha I always used to laugh at Rule 1.... until a girl got thrown in the pit, fell, grabbed at the thing closest to her to stop her fall: my face.

And that is why the pit is off limits for crowd surfers. It can only go bad. Oh so very bad

If you are on a mobile device at a concert you're doing it wrong.

Rules:

1. Never puke on the driver.
2. The pit ain't for cry babies.
3. If it's not your blood don't get so upset.
4. Make it fun.

If you don't like partying people who get loud and rowdy don't go to a headbangers concert and I promise I wont go see Justin beiber

all of these annoy me, though, especially "mind your height". being short at a concert is nothing to be excited about (unless you tunnel your way to the stage).

buy the band's dvd and stop annoying everyone else

if you're in a mosh pit, don't bitch about getting hit.

don't mosh with a beer in your hand.

watch out for people with spiky jackets and bracelets.

don't throw beer bottles at the band, unless they suck ass.

what kind of music are you listening to that you can hear people talking? whatever it is, it's not loud enough.

ha! I guess that applies to outdoor concerts...people were talking through Foo Fighters and Metallica last weekend but it was outdoors
