I didn't buy a concert ticket to hear people scream or to listen to the fool next to me try to sing along on every song.

Then don't go to concerts because that will NEVER stop happening.

I didn't say it would, I just think the people who do it are incredibly self-absorbed and stupid.

The concerts I go to don't really do ballads..I don't know of a band that does. There are slow songs that people sing along to and the band encourages it. I know I and the people around me sung and danced to every single song that was played at the last concert I was at. I don't instigate it though. I go with everyone else I'm a follower not a leader. I think we go to different types of concerts. The concerts I go to it is an insult to the band if it is not an active crowd. It is an even bigger insult to have the band ask for activity in the crowd.

I go to ALL kinds of concerts, including concerts where it's expected that you will scream, dance and show the band some love. My next concert of that type will be Linkin Park and I will most certainly scream and sing along when invited. That doesn't mean that I won't be highly pissed if some dumbass next to me makes it impossible for me to hear Chester on a song like "Powerless' for instance. There's a time and place. Some people are more intent on giving a show than hearing one, IMHO.

To be honest, if I see someone who is annoyed at the crowd or shoving or volume I will go out and make sure I do all of the above to them. It really just aggravates me when people thing going to concerts will be like a peaceful walk in the park.

I think people should expect it at some concerts, little girls/concert prudes do not belong in general admission.

Sounds like you go to the 'better' concerts in my opinion >.> really don't see the point in concerts where you can't really see, hear or really 'do' anything apart from drugs, sex and paracetamol the next morning >.>

Well, as noted above, I go to ALL kinds of concerts. But whether I'm attending an orchestral concert or a heavy metal concert I go to hear the music, not to party, and I resent everyone who interferes with my ability to enjoy the music.

As I said, the better concerts =P (I wasn't trying to be snotty, I was referring only to concerts where it's less about the punching and kicking and more about the music)

Fans go to a concert TO SING ALONG.

In some situations, sure, but people who have to sing along on every single song are just self-absorbed jerks.

No people who sing along are the dire hard fans who actually know every word and go to have fun and sing because that's what most people do at concerts.

Fools Pls. Listen: Don't get drunk to the point of annoying and then run into and barf on other people! =)
Also, leave kids home with the babysitter rather then ignore them to jive to the band.

every concert i've attended there was no problem with the acoustics, it was standing room only and know one was on their phones with exceptions of taking pics and videos.

i've always disliked pda.do that in privacy

You can't really shut up at a loud concert, you can't control your height, and hey, you're at a concert. Why not take pictures.

But PDA.... it's their concert. Not you and your boy/girlfriend's. You two can make out afterwards. Just enjoy the concert.

i know people can't help their height but i hate it when they work their way through to stand right in front of all the really short people, also i hate people who show up really late act really cocky lie that their friends are up ahead and push their way to the front, i went to wireless festival this year and everyone almost got trampled on just before wiz kalifa came on (i really cldnt see why lol) people were fainting and panicking left right and centre totally unnecessary and dangerous. Another problem we had was pushy parents that brought preteens to a festival and let the kids wonder off a bit in the front and then kept shouting over the 20 people between them and the kids it was totally annoying; children shouldnt be allowed to go to all standing festivals. there it is ive had my rant lol
