Ellen DeGeneres On “American Idol”
HARSHEST JUDGE OR NOT: It’s not a surprise that America’s nicest talk show host just didn’t like being mean to the “Idol” hopefuls. Ellen announced yesterday that she won’t be going back for a second season.

Since Simon Cowell announced his departure from “American Idol” next season, lips have been flapping for months about who would replace him. After all, Cowell was the mean judge that everyone loved to hate. His harsh critiques of the would-be idols often added comedic flair to the show.
In the last 24 hours, more “Idol” judge shake-up news has hit the Internet. Ellen DeGeneres announced she won’t be going back to the show either. It seems the ultra-nice talk show host just couldn’t get into the idea of telling bright-eyed hopefuls what was wrong with their performances. And Kara DioGuardi, the frankly useless fourth judge, has been let go, too.
With a few empty chairs next to Randy Jackson, producers have reportedly turned to Jennifer Lopez and Aerosmith’s Stephen Tyler to dish out their critiques. Seems easy to guess which one will fill Simon’s not-so-nice shoes. But will J. Lo quickly become the harshest reality TV judge?

We need another brutally honest Simon. I appreciated his realism and total honesty (not to mention the fact that he was usually right).
The judges on earth are giving the wrong message about God in the way they behave, behaving like Satan Rather than A loving God who is wise, and harmless.portraying the fruits of the spirit, Galatians 5:22-23-.KJV, This God should be in everyone of us so we can be civil to every one of us because heaven is supposed to begin in everyone one of us now.
who stink, the point is to get them off the stage so
that they're not wasting our time sucking.
The people who are competing in these contests are doing so for potentially big stakes, big money.
If these people are successes, then these "harsh" judges have judged wisely.
If these winners are flops, these judges have not done their jobs and risk losing their credibility over charges of being "in the tank" or "bought".
And in these high stake businesses credibility is everything.
In the end, we are faced with a decision based on merit, combined with some element if personable qualities.
These prizes are not the participation trophy every last place finisher gets.
These are winner/loser competitions with no gray area for the wishy-washy.
