Ever wonder what it would be like to watch Jesus duke it out with the Devil? Well, presumably, that's what you get to do in "Journey of Jesus," a point-and-click Facebook game by Lightside Games that's being promoted as "the first-ever Messiah-based video game." We couldn't vouch for the validity of that claim, but it's probably the first social game about Jesus. The strange game is picking up enough press to get a mention in Time magazine. So far, it's got upwards of 2 million users.
The gameplay is pretty straight-forward -- players controls a cartoony biblical version of themselves as they help Jesus and the disciples out by performing point-and-click tasks, like gathering wood to fix a cart or clearing a thorn bush to get to the baptism. The social part comes in the form of sharing -- users also get to share their progress with their Facebook friends and receive perks for doing so, kind of like "Farmville." Now, we're not sure if that fight with he devil is literal or figurative. Many of the ads show the Lord in a boxing ring with his sandal perched on Satan's chest, but that could just be because it was released on the same day as "Diablo III." Visit the game's Facebook page, click "Play Game" to give it a shot -- and let us know how you feel about the video game about Jesus.

And most things are logical. Some people just lack a healthy dose of it!
i play video games to kill people NOT to save them from SINS WTF!!!!!
When we argue with people like this it only fuels their fundamentalism. It seems to make them feel victimized when we show them how foolish they really are.

I posted a comment. You and your friend replied. So who's arguing? YOU! I don't in any way feel victimized or feel foolish. Sorry if that is disheartening for you to hear. I KNOW the facts and stand by them. You, on the other hand, do not and choose to stay ignorant and oblivious to them. If I told you the sky was blue, and you said 'No, it's green', would your answer be based on fact? How did you come up with your answer? Now, if you agreed the sky was blue, I'd ask the same questions. You would answer, because I was "taught" that way in science and science can prove it (think way back in 3rd grade about light reflection). So, you and your friend believe being "taught" is the same as being "brainwashed", because in theory you were "brainwashed" into thinking that the sky was blue. You were "brainwashed" into thinking 2+2=4. Oh, wait, now you're going to say that is different because that can be proven. Well, so can my religious beliefs, but you choose not to believe that. Why? Because you might actually have to change the way you have been "brainwashed" yourself. Something to ponder.
People like yourself like to argue and carry on because you seem to "need" attention. And, for the most part, that...

People like yourself like to argue and carry on because you seem to "need" attention. And, for the most part, that is sad. However, in this situation, I must thank you. Because of you and others bringing this post to everyone's attention, the Bible-based game is getting more recognition! Thank you! That is so nice of you! You are awesome! And, with that, this will be my last post. I have seen how this "poll" is actually fixed. It doesn't take a Rocket Scientist to figure that one out. But, keep up the good work! Keep posting and commenting for others to see and bring more recognition, thus more people to games based on God! YES!! God Bless!
I am so glad that your child is a "successful university senior in biology"...and as she studies the fascinating ATP, ADP, AMP, DNA, RNA right down to the meosis and mitosis of every nucleus of every animal/plant, she will soon prove that their is a God. I've been there, I know. Then are you going to be saying she is "brainwashed"...I think not. I will leave it at that and pray that she prove to you what I have said to be true. God Bless!
