I grew up dealing with boys, I can handle them better...but considering my boyfriend doesn't want children, and idk whether I'd want to have children with anyone else, Probably just going to play with other people children and wish them well :P...then again I'm young, who knows what will happen yet?

But yes I'd be better at taking care of cuts and scrapes rather than dealing with girls mood swings. Meh. (I was a tomboy growing up, can anyone tell yet?)

I'm pregnant now (my due date is in a week, wow, time flies) and I really would like another girl first (I have two daughters already) before I have a boy. My husband wants a son this time. I didn't find out the sex of the baby because I want to be suprised and really either way it doesn't really matter boy or girl as long as he or she is healthy.

Now I don't plan on having children anytime soon, I haven't even met a girl that I'd be comfortable starting a family with, but when it comes time I wouldn't mind my first child being a girl because it would be a challenge I would never have faced before (I have a brother who's 10 years younger than me, and I'm helping my mom and dad raise him)

We had an only child and she was a girl. Phew!
"A son is a son 'til he gets him a wife.
A daughter is a daughter for the rest of her life."

While I'm certain there are exceptions to this but in our case it's worked.

Boys who grow up with yonger sisters learn to protect their women folk from out siders.

There will still be sibling rivalry though, as in, "I can beat up my little sister but you aren't allowed to."

All in all at the end of the day it makes the brothers more protective of family females and the sisters more femenin and looking for protection from the men around them.
