Slash has a new feather in his cap. The legendary rocker best known as the onetime lead guitarist of Guns N' Roses received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Tuesday.
"I've been a part of the Hollywood fabric for a long time and to actually be appreciated by the city of Hollywood is a huge, huge honor," Slash said at the unveiling of his star, according to Reuters. "And so I want to thank everybody for this; it's unbelievable."
And who knew that the 46-year-old rock god has a BFF in Charlie Sheen? "It's quite fitting I think that Slash is getting a star on the very street that Axl Rose will one day be sleeping on," Sheen joked at the ceremony, referring to Slash's former Guns bandmate and longtime enemy.
Slash has sold over 100 million albums as part of Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver and other groups, Reuters reports. His new solo album, "Apocalyptic Love," reached #4 on the Billboard Top 200.

My choice was between Fleetwood Mac and The Beatles. I had to go with the Beatles.
