SKIP: Ratt, "Infestation" [VIDEO]

In Ratt World it's always 1984, and their latest "Infestation" is reliably chock-full of middle-aged, leather-clad, '80s metal memories. Guess what? '80s metal sounded a lot better in the '80s.

I love it! It's classic Ratt. And it sure beats the schlock we've been force fed the last 10 years; from Idol to the pre-fab bands to the forgettable Top 40 manure. There is a reason the '80s bands are hitting their second stride. Besides, have you seen the ticket revenues for Poison/Def Leppard/Cheap Trick and the first 3 Rocklahomas? Everyone is tired of the bland celery-diet crap the radio and MTV have heaped upon us. It's time we go back to bands who made it on talent, hard knocks, and hard work. Maybe if Ratt were a downcast, navel-gazing, effeminate Indie-Rock band Fox would have said "Play?"
