'Skinny' Website Calls Kate Upton Fat: So True or So Wrong?

When 20-year-old Kate Upton made her debut on the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue this year, men wanted her and women wanted to look like her. Well, except for the people at a website called Skinny Gossip. The "pro skinny" site has slammed the model for having “huge thighs, NO waist, big fat floppy boobs." Find out what else the site had to say in the video below!

"Is this what American women are 'striving' for now? The lazy, lardy look? Have we really gotten so fat in this country that Kate is the best we can aim for? Sorry, but: eww! Fashion is supposed to be aspirational—and the kind of people who aspire to look like this shop for clothes at Wal-Mart. She looks like she would work in the back of a motorcycle shop in Nashville and give [a sexual favor] for $25."

Whoa! That's pretty harsh! And a big diss to Wal-Mart! According to Gothamist, Skinny Girl responded to the outrage with the following statement: "As a thin person, I was annoyed by our double-standards around weight. For example, people think nothing of telling a thin woman—to their face, in front of an entire group of people—how skinny they are and even to suggest what they should eat." She also says she's not pro-anorexia, even though she's been posting a "Starving Tip Of The Day" for years. Do you think "Skinny" should shut up? Or is she right about Kate Upton?

Those people on skinny gossip are probably skinny but not healthy. They like to talk about how "fat" America is and I'm pretty sure the person who critique Kate Upton on her weight would like to call her self skinny and she probably is but she is also probably unhealthy. Just being skinny doesnlt mean you are healthy. "Skinny" don't bs people skinny is skinny but that doesn't mean skinny is healthy.

'Skinny Gurl' probably looks like a diseased crackwhore and is just pissed that no one finds her attractive. I find her idea of a double standard hilarious, too, since last I checked fat people were even bigger (ha!) targets of ridicule.

You know what-- I won't DATE a skinny girl. I had a blind date in Lynn Mass., and she told me over the phone that she was heavy, but when I saw her on the sidewalk she was skinny as a rail. I pulled up and when I saw her, I just KEPT ON TRUCKIN'.

She is different from the average SI swim suite babes. She looks like she is all natural body and skin. Skinny Mimi’s look heaver and wider on camera, so they look great. Conversely a Hot normal weight girl will look heaver and wider on camera.

Who the F... is "Skinny Gossip" anyway? Bet half the men and women that work for “shinny" are fat and the women give office head on their breaks.

I don't know that I would call her fat, but she does have some less than perfect attributes that do lend to an usual visual body shape, first glance I think hot, but a closer inspection does reveal exactly what they describe....

I would rather play with kate uptons boobs than some stiff plasticky gross tits. True fact. My girlfriend has fake boobs and sometimes she tells me not to squeeze so hard because it hurts.
