Frank Darabont, best known for directing "The Shawshank Redemption" and "The Green Mile," was the main man behind ABC's "The Walking Dead" television series, until he was suddenly "dismissed" in July. In a TV Guide interview released on Wednesday, he revealed it was due to some budget-related tension between him and the network: "Oh, this is the most successful show in the history of basic cable. Let's gut the budgets now." Now he's working on a new series for TNT called "L.A. Noir," and "Walking Dead" star Jon Bernthal might come with him.
According to Variety, Bernthal is in talks with TNT about a starring role in "L.A. Noir," which Darabont suggested will resemble the Raymond Chandler aesthetic and might include real characters, like Mickey Cohen and Bugsy Siegel. Now, Bernthal is still a major character on "The Walking Dead," but when Zap2it interviewed executive producers for "The Walking Dead," they said to look out for some up-coming deaths.

Its bullet in the brain time for his character.
Also, those people who went off on their own when they split at the campsite and headed for the CDC offices.
Bernthal character is kind of running out of ideas on what to do with him next besides letting his cop pal know that he did his wife, after that bit of info what is left for him.
I am just saying.
I keep having a bad feeling that Morgan was killed and his kid escaped somehow and he finds Rick and the gang. I was afraid that was going to be written in as a way to "make up" for what happened to Sophie. Replacing the kid with another kid.
I like the way you think LOL
I guess we will have to wait and see : )
: )
Admittedly, I haven't read the graphic novels and understand that Shane was suppose to be dead a while ago but...I just wonder how the show will carry on with the tension it's had without it's loose cannon.
I wonder when or if they'll find out he shot that guy to get away from the zombies. All the rest of the characters are rather bland so they could get rid of the wife and not miss a beat. I got the idea that the redneck who cut his hand off is dead - his brother was imaging him when lost in the woods.
Well it can't come soon enough
You don't know how nervous I was the last episode when they were alone in the woods x__x. I was like "Dale is going to die. DALE IS GOING TO DIE. NOO RUN DALE! CRAZY-EYES IS GONNA GET YOU. D:"
I wonder what that Howard Huey whatever guy is going to do now that his family of zombies have been killed. Can't wait for the 12th!! :D
Shane's character helps make the show watchable, (despite the lack of actual walking dead) along with Daryl, who is also in a struggle with himself and the others, and my favorite good guy, Dale.
not the best person.
Most people agree with me on it though, the general consensus is that Shane is the best character in the show as of yet.
I was going to ask who you found more interesting on the show to discuss it, not to disagree.
