Guess who made an appearance during the San Francisco Giants-Arizona Diamondbacks game broadcast on Monday? None other than Giants legend and home run king Barry Bonds. According to Bonds and the Giants organization, the retired baseball great could be returning to the franchise in a front office role.
But the dark cloud of steroid allegations still looms over him, even after standing trial in front of a grand jury in 2003. Technically, Bonds is a convicted felon because he was charged with obstruction of justice for allegedly lying to the grand jury about knowingly using steroids, but he's quick to point out that he was never actually convicted of using illegal performance enhancing drugs (PEDs).
That doesn't change the fact Major League Baseball -- and the Giants organization -- seemed to distance itself from Bonds following his retirement. His record-breaking home run total was not very celebrated because of the PED allegations. While Bonds didn't have a reputation as a friendly guy with the media, he hopes that he can not only return to the Giants, but be in the public's good graces.
"I gave my life and soul to that game. That's what's heartbreaking. That's the hard part of it," Bonds said, according to ESPN.com. "...All I ever wanted was for people to have a good time and enjoy it ... They all showed up to see whatever would happen next and it motivated me to play hard."

Proverbs 12: 22Lying lips are abomination to the LORD:
Proverbs 3: 32For the froward is abomination to the LORD: but his secret is with the righteous
Someone who is froward is the opposite of someone who is "affable, friendly" Humans were not friendly toward Barry. You can't deny that.
Hebrews 12:15; Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. The humans against Bonds have a bitter defiled soul.
KJV, James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. 12There is one lawgiver, who is able to save and to destroy: who art thou that judgest another?
In other words let Barry do what Barry wants to do judging yourself.
That being said... I wouldn't want the guy anywhere near my organization.
Lets not forget with a 5-0 lead late in the 6th game, Bonds was a no show.
