    300m changed hands in Vegas due to that one idiotic call, the NFL has more than enough on ti's plate that becoming the cyber hall monitor for the players. A couple things come to mind is the concussion/growing lawsuit issue that just seems to have drifted out of the medias spin list like a top 20 song fallen out of favor and this petty cash official contract issue that apparently someone wants to pound their chest on.

    Hell to the No, I didn't know that being a football player takes away their constitutional rights of freedom of expression. The stinking NFL dictates way too much as it is for the players. They are a monopoly that needs to be sued and broken up. I love football but cannot stand a dictatorial organization that is allowed to run rough shod over the players, coaches and fans.

    This is not a First Amendment issue. No one is denying their right to complain about the call. They don't have the right to use profane or abusive language. It is the same principle as you don't have the right to stand up in the middle of a crowded theater and yell fire when there isn't one.

    The league goofed. They're not training their substitute referees properly. Bad calls are deciding games. Can you blame the players for feeling bad about that?

    I'm more in favor of suspending the season until the ref thing is resolved. Some fan, with extreme legal knowledge, just might sue the NFL for breach of Trust in their offer of a sub-par product tot he consumer.

    Not according to the NFL, Alex Smith QB 49ers almost got a 15k fine for wearing a SF Giant baseball hat within 90 minutes of the end of their game. What kind of crap is that. The NFL needs to be brought down to earth.

    It's not a matter of freedom of speech. They have the right to complain, not the right to use profane and or abusive language. You can't stand up in a crowded theater and yell fire if there isn't one and claim freedom of speech.
