With Pau Gasol's recent struggles, it's natural to wonder whether the Lakers will trade him. The safer bet has them waiting to see how Gasol and the team perform once Steve Nash's leg is healthy. If the Lakers do look to make a move before the Feb. 21 trade deadline, they would need to consider the trade bonus Gasol would be entitled to under his contract.

Get Howard out of there before you get Gasol out of there. Gasol in his career has been MUCH more productive for Los Angeles than D12 has been for Orlando. And taht's BEFORE I believe Howard started throwing games.

And the quicker they realize D'Antoni was a HUGE mistake and either bring Brown back as a co-head coach to team with D'Antoni or bring The Legend back to his throne BEFORE the end of the season.

I say either Mike Brown (defensive brain) and Mike D'Antoni (offensive brain) as co-headcoaches/cordinators or get Phil back NOW!

Gasol is a great athlete.Coach D needs to find a better way to fit him into the system.Rather than make him fit into something he is not.They are doing it with Howard.Why not Gasol?Maybe he does need a trade to a place that he would fit into and will work with his abilities better.

Yup. There is no love lost for me for the Lakers as a Celtics fan, but Gasol has been very productive for them. Everyone has a slump, they need to show their loyalty to him and let him work himself out of it I think.
