Should Taylor Swift Sue Over Tabloid's Topless Pic Claim?

You might have seen headlines this weekend referencing a supposed "Taylor Swift nude photo," but fans of Swift's sterile image have nothing to worry about. The photo in question is not of the 21-year-old Grammy winner -- just a picture of a woman who apparently looks like her. But Swift's representatives are still furious.

According to the New York Daily News, online tabloid Celebrity Jihad posted a naked picture of a young woman who could pass as Taylor Swift with the title "Taylor Swift Topless Private Pic Leaked?" Under the picture they wrote, "After careful examination of this photo, I believe that this is in fact Taylor Swift. The wood paneling on her bedroom walls suggest that she is in some sort of top of the line trailer ... Add to that, the fact that the girl in the photo has strawberries on her panties and Taylor Swift has been known to eat strawberries."


Wood paneling and strawberry underwear? It must be her.

After receiving an aggressive threat from Swift's representatives, accusing Celebrity Jihad of "trademark infringement," TMZ reports that the tabloid is weighing its options. So far they've left the picture up, but have since added their own coverage of the controversy.

The new story reads, "Taylor Swift clearly brought this upon herself by running around without a burka, exposing her lanky bird like figure in public. Not to mention her sexually suggestive song lyrics, which include Taylor advocating running off to meet boys 'on the edge of town' without a male relative to chaperone."

Uh, alright.
