Should Ryan Lochte Have His Own Reality Show?

First there was the possibility of Ryan Lochte getting selected for an ensemble cast reality show, such as The Bachelor or Dancing With The Stars. Now, multiple sources have confirmed that the Olympic swimming gold medalist is in talks with E! to develop his own reality show. Clearly, Lochte is trying to capitalize on his newfound fame. And who could blame him?

Lochte was entertaining to many for more than just swimming during this year's Olympic Games. From his good looks to his catchphrase "Jeah!" to his custom made American flag grill, Lochte is one of those guys that people either love or hate. The Olympian's fame--or infamy--is at an all-time high, so it makes sense for him to take advantage of it.

Whether or not he can successfully negotiate a reality TV deal or two is on him and his management, but it doesn't hurt to try and make some money beyond swimming. However, he does risk not translating well on TV and faces potential overexposure. On the other hand, he could actually increase popularity through reality TV. With his family in the news lately, expect them to be involved in some capacity too. We will all find out soon enough. Jeah!
