Boston Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo is ultra-talented and one of the the top players in his position. His on-court swagger and triple-double threats are serious business for his opponents. But as we've covered here on SodaHead Sports before, Rondo can also be a bit of a basket case. And when he is, bad things happens -- and that's usually bad for the Celtics.
Rondo was already suspended earlier this year for getting into it with an NBA official and now he'll find himself missing an all-too-important Game 2 first round playoff game against the Atlanta Hawks. In the Game 1 loss, Rondo chest bumped a referee and clearly looked like he was trying to intimidate him with his physical presence and perhaps, even verbal abuse.
Rule No. 1, pro-ballers: Don't get into it with officials whether you're right or wrong. Rule No. 2: Don't make physical contact with an official. And Rule No. 3: Just don't be a jerk. Rondo failed at abiding by these three simple rules. It may be playoff basketball, but it isn't life and death. However, the Celtics' slim championship hopes may further inch towards a bad death if Game 2 results in a loss. It may be a team game, but Celtics fans -- and the team itself -- should be frustrated that their best player, Rajon Rondo, won't be on the court.

if they lose enough money = playing time perhapes they will get the message that this is a game and keep it in real world context
no way , no how, no execuses...
sit for a game ,shut up, and come back in game 3 and do what you do..
Trip, stumbled, or whatever people call it he enjoyed shoving his shoulder into the referee (who makes very bad calls, in my opinion). There should be some sort of punishment. Perhaps 1 game...maybe 2.
damn, grow up, man up
it is bad enuff obomma blames any / all on others , would like to see one of them be a man and take responsibility .. what do they teach in school now a days ???
do not make contact with ref.. there is no little *** in the rule book ..
no contact or no play.. kinda simple... keep the execuses to your self, no contact .
Don't let the wood bruise yer butt.
no touch ,, no how, no way... kinda simple rule..
this ain't the white house, you just can not blame it on some thing else....
