Our judicial system is one of the worst in the world. We are far too quick to "lock people up" and pass judgement. Then again, our prison system do provide a lot of employment for people in this country. If we didn't lock people up for any and everything, there would be a lot of people without jobs and some of these big lobbyists supported by outsourced prison contractors would lose lots of money and then they'd have to let people go to. So, yes, we better keep putting people in jail. Gotta keep that money rolling in.

This is not yet a nation of aristocrats. (Although, I know the 'Hollywood' crowd think they are above us) If the average citizen violated parole, he would be in jail.

and not only for violating her probation but because she needs to learn a good reality lesson. and don't gave her privileges while in jail. a jail bird is a jail bird no matter what her station in life is.

She became addicted to something.
Its not that easy to stop once you're addicted -- hence the addicted part of it -- and sometimes you just want it so bad.
People bring her up in conversations about bad people -- you've gotta live up to a reputation, right?:)

No it is not easy to stop when addicted. No easy for any one no matter what your status in life is. Lindsay has been cut slack time and time again because of her status as a well known actress. She received her slaps on the wrist time and time again. slaps that most none of us would never get in the same circumstances she was faced with from the jump.
Slack I do not think so she had slack and thought she could run with it. The judge has enough. Now lets see how serious she takes this and really try for herself and only herself do the things she needs to do to heal herself. There are other stars out there who have ran this same path. Some have grown and healed themselves and working to make themselves better people. If not her course will only doom her. It is up to lindsay.

She is a threat to herself first and foremost. It is not all about society. If something bad was to happen most who defend her actions would say no one did nothing to help. That is how two faced the world has become.

She isn't special if one person who isn't famous ends up in jail for that reason so should she. Fame isn't everything, actually from what I've seen it's the opposite. A lot of famous people think they are special and can get away with breaking the law just because they are rich, famous, and pretty. I think they all need a wake up call.

Lindsey needs to have consequences just like everyone else who violates probation and breaks the law. She may be an actress and singer, but she is also human like all of us. She has been in trouble numerous times and her behavior needs to be corrected before she's more out of control. Lindsey needs time to sit and think her life through and hopefully it's better when she's done.

If I would have done this exact thing...I would go to jail....why not her?? Shouldn't the laws of the land apply to all who live here?
