If,and when the blackmailer is found guilty:He should face the outcome of his deeds as a judge prescribes by law.How ever with all the local NY media attention,and Letterman still bringning this up-in detail:I would bet-at the very least-that a change of venue would be approved,at the hearing.
It would make a good Vegas bet as whether,or not he will be found guilty of any felony.IMVHO.

You don't know WHAT he has been doing for the past 15 years that he has been with her...(and I know that they weren't married, but they were together).
