We're all for the diversification of music, but sometimes it results in some odd combinations. Eminem and Elton John teamed up for a 2001 Grammy performance, and that turned out well. Though Tony Bennett and Amy Winehouse were decades apart, their mutual understanding of jazz turned their duet into a classic. But what could Dolly Parton and Lady Gaga have up their sleeve?
For the time being, it's only an idea. At the premiere of Parton's moview "Joyful Noise," as she was showing off her new chest tattoo (a bouquet of flowers between her breasts; nothing crazy), she revealed she would like to sing a duet with Lady Gaga some day. Yep, it was Parton's idea. And we can't see Gaga turning it down, either. She clearly has some interest in country music, and is usually pretty gung-ho for getting involved with masters of their craft. But that doesn't mean it's a good idea.

gaga parton or The gagging, pardon me
Maybe, the Rocky-Top Horrible Picture Show
I've seen a video of her singing some R&B; before the whole one shot pop nonsense, she has a fantastic voice, you hear it in some of her songs too before they turn to gibberish.
If she takes the time to really sing it would be fantastic.
It would be interesting to hear what these two come up with.
I don't think Dolly performs with livestock!
