Sean "P Diddy" Combs son Justin is awarded a Scholastic/Athletic Scholarship to UCLA. My thought is he should as this is about his achievements not his fathers. What are your feelings?

+1his dad is a multimillionaire the noble thing to do is find someone who really needs itreply -
+1Maybe better is to accept and have his father set up a scholarship for others?reply - beachbum 2012/06/01 01:21:12
+1SHOULD he accept it? IMO, it would be a really class act to not accept it so that the $ could go to a student who couldn't afford college. The fact that he has the physical talent, and the grades to go along with it says a lot. His dad donating $ to the college for scholarships would be an extremely nice gesture.reply - cm 2012/05/31 21:42:53
+1my son received a scholarship so i have a little background here and UCLA is not going to give up a scholarship unless the kid is worthy.reply -

+1Considering his father's wealth, it might be a nice gesture to pass the scholarship along to a POOR kid who might not otherwise be able to go to college. As a bib Obama supporter, I am sure his dad is very concerned about the poor----or maybe not so much ?reply -
I thought of that too. It's been suggested that he (Sean Combs) set up another like scholarship. .reply - cm Dave 2012/05/31 22:11:54

+1I must be lost. I will admit that I don't keep up on pop culture so much.... but is there a specific reason he might turn it down?reply -
+1Some are saying he should because of his fathers wealth.reply - Sheila littleb... 2012/05/31 19:25:33
+1If it is an EARNED scholarship then he EARNED it. Dad not withstanding. What he should not get is financial aid like grants.reply - Sheila Sheila 2012/05/31 19:26:43
