We recently told you that Jennifer Lopez was named Forbes' No. 1 overall celebrity, even though she was on the brink of irrelevance just a few years before. "American Idol" was a big part of that turn around. But sources say she might be quitting because she's "too busy."

There are a few theories about what the rumors could mean. The most likely possibility is her upcoming world tour with Enrique Iglesias, which does seem to coincide with the filming of "American Idol." However, Reality Rocks suggests she might be shooting for an even tastier contract. Another likely factor is her 4-year-old twins. We hear kids sometimes need attention. What do you think? Should Jennifer Lopez quit the show to focus on other obligations? Or should she stick with it?

No, why should she. Unless it interferes with her being a mother, I think she should stay. It it has done a lot for her career by bringing her personal side to the forefront. I really didn't like her until she was on idol. I thought she was vain and a typical selfish star. On the show she comes across as a lovely person so I think her fan base increased. Leaving the show would be foolish since It has been a major boost to her career.

I think they should get rid of Taylor and her, they ruin the show. I won't dare watch it because its simply not the same without Simon and Paula. They need to find someone else to replace both of them. I do not understand how Randy puts up with both of them, ugh.

I would like for the present judges to leave and bring in judges who do not stand up and declare winners which I feel is an attempt to get the public to vote for the judges' favorite. Is this for Americans to choose or not? I think Lopez is there to promote Lopez. Randy just "loves" and "loves" "dude" or "dawg" to death. And the judge who wants to moon the public and dishonor the National Anthem........should not be judge an American Idol. IMHO.

J Lo has been an improvement over the last few former judges, but the panel would gain some cred by having a judge with true vocal talent (no autotune) rather than being mostly a dancer/actress.

No, I think that she adds class to the show, and she also adds sex appeal to the judging.
If money is the criteria, then I think that her present salary is suficient, and she isn't worth a penny more. I liked Paula but she was replaced by Jennifer, and now I like watching Jennefer. Who would you want as a replacement? Who would be better? Let's keep Lopez.
