According to TMZ.com, Playboy Magazine founder Hugh Hefner is getting hitched yet again. The 86-year-old entrepreneur is engaged to an old flame, former fiancee Crystal Harris. Harris is 29 years old, making the age gap about 57 years between her and her future hubby. The couple was originally set to get married earlier this year, but Harris got cold feet less than a week before the wedding.

This upcoming marriage, set to take place in a private ceremony on New Year's Eve 2012, will be Hefner's third time tying the knot. The third time could be the charm for Hefner, but whether Harris is ready will remain to be seen until the day of the wedding, when the vows are actually recited.

As the founder and owner of the Playboy empire, it's easy for Hefner to get distracted by the beautiful women who roam his Playboy mansion and pose for his magazines and network. Hopefully for the sake of Hefner's upcoming third marriage, Harris isn't the jealous type. She tweeted the following once they became re-engaged: "Dear past, thank you for all the lessons. Dear future, I'm ready."

I can't understand why. He is always surrounded by women who look like they adore him and he has paid servants who wait on him. He has all the amenities of a married man but none of the responsibilities nor the commitments of a long lasting relationship.

If he wants to, and she wants to, why not? Marriage is the couples choice, and they can make whatever they want of it. Also, they have every right to want to sign up for the legal rights afforded by marriage. Oh we can snicker and laugh and not take there marriage seriously: I sure as hell will. And for good reason. But its not my life, or anyone except his and his future wifes.

Even assuming that all the cynics are right, and this is about nothing more then sex for Hefner and money for Harris, well...I got no problem if someone wants to be a prostitute. What they decide they want marriage to be bears absolutely 0 consequences for what any other couple wants marriage to be.
