It takes 2 to fight, or in this case 6. The information given doesn't tell the whole story at all, and it seems to try to justify going to court by adding in the part about derogatory terms for homosexuals.
Who doesn't insult people they don't like in a fight? Plus if both sides were fighting, and it just ended in black eyes and bruised egos, then thats where it should be left.

Rihanna may have put the past behind her with boyfriend Chris Brown for the assault in 2009, but Frank Ocean may not forgive and forget. The R & B singer, who allegedly got into a brawl with Brown in a Los Angeles parking lot this past weekend wants his Grammy rival prosecuted. Of course, if this happens, Rihanna’s beau may have his probation revoked and could be looking at some possible jail time.
On Sunday, West Hollywood police responded to a call about a brawl involving six men. The deputies say Brown hit Ocean in the scuffle. No charges were filed at the time but word on the street is Ocean wants Brown arrested for yelling out a slew of homophobic slurs. He wrote on Twitter “got jumped by Chris and a couple guys." In a second post he stated, “cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys.”
Both Brown and Ocean are nominated for Best Urban Contemporary album and both will be attending the Grammys on February 10 in Los Angeles. There are even rumors Brown will perform with Rihanna, who is scheduled to sing during the live broadcast. In the meantime, we’ll see what investigators in the assault case decide. What do you think? "Word on the street" doesn't verify the accuracy of the comment. It's like me saying, "I heard this from my Aunt Griselda, who said her cousin's neighbor heard this story and says it might be true".
