It's called ELECTION DAY for a reason!

All yes voters are just lazy!
Many of the ealy citizens needed more time to get to the polls that we currently have available to us TO vote!

How much time do people need to go vote? If they had 6 months, some would still complain and then wait til the last day,

Every television hook up to cable should be interactive so you could vote on anything from your living room.

In fact it should be cut. You can get off your ass and vote on the election day or you can do an absentee ballot.

What if you have to work? If you take time off your paycheck will be cut and you cannot afford that? Seems unfair.

The polls are open from 6 am to 8 or 9 pm here. I have worked my whole life, usually 2 jobs and have NEVER missed voting. You have to make priorities....

While that may be true,I dont KNOW it is so I will not go there. She has always been civil to me and that is so rare now days from the "other side" (regardless what side you are on sad to say) that I want to keep it that way.

by not letting dead people vote, or felons voting, or illegals voting, or people voting multiple times? it's no wonder that the democRAT party is so against us having to show an ID in order to vote.

Sorry but I really think that is wrong. Some things are a responsibility and if you do not have the ...whatever it is that makes people do the right thing....(?) then you dont vote. There are absentee ballots that are counted if you can not make it that day, but to say this is election week is silly. We want the people who give a poop enough to possible inconvenience themselves to go vote not the people who whine "Its too haaarrrrddddd to get there that day".

If you accept absentee ballots, why not early votes? I don't see the difference.

Many people dont. I do. many many people disagree with me, but when they think hard they can usually at least see where I am coming from. I usually get "well YEA....but....." When I have conversations on this IRL. S ok. We dont have to always agree right? Hope you have a great day!

When you hear that a district turned in over 100% of the vote for a candidate ya gotta think someone cooked the books.

i guess you're not smart enough to realize that most democRAT politicians are lawyers, and who's the biggest crooks there is? lawyers! when asked, most people-including liberals-list lawyers as the most hated profession, yet liberals seem to have no problem voting for them. maybe because liberals don't bother to check out the candidate before they vote for them-all they see it the "D" after their name.
  • ehrhornp LeroyRo... 2012/12/11 19:04:40
    ehrhornp
lol, lawyers are no more corrupt than any other profession. What's the matter? Some lawyer successfully sued you for doing wrong?

Hate to tell you this but it is not just democrats who vote for attorneys. Most people in politics just happen to be connected to the legal profession. If anything it is republicans who don't bother to check out their candidates. I have received more than one response from people who deny that Mitt would have increased spending while reducing revenue.
