Donald Trump has been very vocal in his disdain for a lot of famous faces over the years -- and President Barack Obama was his latest victim during the recent election. Trump spent a good portion of the campaign period trying to prove the President is not an American citizen. He demanded to see his birth certificate and even offered him millions to produce his college records and passport.
And while many feel Trump’s tactics are, if not treasonous, then certainly out of line, a new controversy surrounding him is brewing. The real estate mogul, who has had a longstanding relationship with Macy’s, has apparently made a new ad for the department store.
In it, he confronts Edmund Gwenn who played Santa Claus in “Miracle on 34th Street.” Trump tugs on the actor’s beard and questions if he is, indeed, who he claims to be. MoveOn.org is interpreting this as a dig in line with the Obama birther movement and is circulating a petition demanding that Macy’s “Dump Trump.”
Certainly, the Donald is no saint and is not shy about making his wild accusations, but perhaps it’s MoveOn.org that is being paranoid this time around. After all, this is not the first time someone has made an “are you the real Kris Kringle” joke accompanied by a tug of the beard. Perhaps this ad really has nothing to do with the POTUS. What do you think? Should Macy’s fire Trump?

Has any of you seen the movie? You all sound like you don't have a clue. The theme is everyone doubts Santa Claus is who he said he was.
...he's...really gross at this point.
I agree.
Otherwise...weren't you the one that was accusing me of making personal attacks? If that's the case, perhaps you should refrain from doing so yourself...because, you know, it makes you seem hypocritical.
Also, I would again suggest that if you are going to claim others are uncivil, you should attempt to maintain civility yourself.
I am going to cancel my account with Macy`s.
