OK, so Rihanna would be a terrible choice for a Whitney Houston biopic. Fair enough. It might sound like an odd proposition, but what about Houston's own daughter, Bobbi Kristina? According to TMZ, she actually wants to play the part. Of course, Bobbi has yet to make a name for herself as a singer or an actor, but last month she told Oprah that she'd like to carry on her mother's legacy, and what better way to start?

TMZ claims that Bobbi is telling her friends she's the "only one person" who can play her mother because no one knew her as well as she did, and compared the situation to the late rapper Easy E, who might be played by his son in an upcoming N.W.A biopic. However, the relative proximity to Houston's death could make this more of an emotional roller coaster. Maybe she could just play a young Houston. Do you think Bobbi Kristina should play her own mother, Ms. Whitney Houston?

I think Sanae Lathan is the best choice-she is beautiful and can act, as far as the singing, no one can sing like Whitney, so might as well leave that alone and put the music of Whitney herself in. Let her child grieve. If the movie is dignified yet truthful, then I have no objection. If it focuses too much on her demons then I am opposed, Whitney had so much more to her as a person that (JUST) that.

I want to play her-hehe. Similar appearance and skill is essential, plus the sacredness of a secret/surprise person . Bobbi Kristina could find other ways to contribute to the movie or mom's legacy, but here sheer mesmerize will make it.

That is true and she isn't nearly as pretty, which must be hard for the kid to live with.

Did you read her final autopsy report? She was missing her front 11 teeth from decay. Chronic internal organ damage, the list went on and on. AND she drowned face down in 150 degree water. Good grief.

150 degrees, the water was still that hot when they found her, not for nothin, but cocaine really is numbbing for real. when you keep putting drugs into your body your liver gets badly damaged for one thing, so we can imagine that her liver was damaged, but they said her heart had damage, but I think it was broken. that Bobby Brown went right out and got another woman pregnant and she had a boy-but I guess Whitney had her chance and her body had a hard time carrying another pregnancy from what I knew.sad:(

That's ALOT of coke! Now we know where some of where her $ went. Sort of like Lady Sings the Blues. Even if I had known more about her drug abuse, I would still have listened to her & bought everyone of her albums (as I did).

The gap in her teeth is identical to her father. The fact that Whitney's only child doesn't bare any resemblance to her shows that God only made 1 Whitney. So I hope whoever is in chrg of making a movie about her, remembers that.

I agree with some of the responders ... Whitney should be allowed at least 1-2 years of peace before someone tries to put her life on film. But, as for Bobbie Kristina playing the role of her mother? Oh HELL NAW! I don't care if it was her mother, and she knew her best .... " there still are some things that just shouldn't't be done"!

The movie can't be made without Bobbie Brown. There are so many scenes that would require more than Bobbi could give by virtue of her being the daughter. She would be a great mentor for whomever plays the role. Maybe an unknown look alike would be best in order to keep from getting wrapped up in who the character is in real life.

Whitney Houston use to party at the club in Atlanta, Georgia in the early 80's where I was a bouncer; she was very young 20or21yrs.old.
Her daughter look like her from when whitney was young. Google some young photos of whitney and compare her daughter's looks to them.

And we are casting Bobbi Kristina because?? And let's assume she can actually sing - Why is it that Hollywood has this deluded idea that the gene pool of celebrity spawns the same level or even a modicum of talent to equal the gifts of their illustrious parentage, when the opposite is in fact true. Worse, she doesnot even resemble her. This is most ill advised. Indeed, it's in the poorest possible taste!
