Should Bobbi Kristina Play Whitney Houston?

OK, so Rihanna would be a terrible choice for a Whitney Houston biopic. Fair enough. It might sound like an odd proposition, but what about Houston's own daughter, Bobbi Kristina? According to TMZ, she actually wants to play the part. Of course, Bobbi has yet to make a name for herself as a singer or an actor, but last month she told Oprah that she'd like to carry on her mother's legacy, and what better way to start?

TMZ claims that Bobbi is telling her friends she's the "only one person" who can play her mother because no one knew her as well as she did, and compared the situation to the late rapper Easy E, who might be played by his son in an upcoming N.W.A biopic. However, the relative proximity to Houston's death could make this more of an emotional roller coaster. Maybe she could just play a young Houston. Do you think Bobbi Kristina should play her own mother, Ms. Whitney Houston?

No because she does not look like her mother but is the spitting image of her father and Whitney and her fans hated the way he treated her. In the Oprah Winfrey interview she said Bobby Brown cheated on her and spit on her.
Without a doubt Whitney loved her daughter but she should not play her mother, unless she gets a nose job and her gap teeth fixed (both trade marks of her father).
Whitney was tall with a Swan neck (her daughter lacks these features). Whitney was also very elegant in her earlier career. Her daughter would really have to have a make over to pull it off.

Yes, but only early Whitney. If she played her to about 20-26 it would work. She looks like her mother in certain ways, bone structure, eyes and skin tone. She, with a few small tweaks to her appearance would be Whitney's shorter double. Also, she needs to show acting skills and quality lip syncing ( no one has the queen of pops voice). All in all, a good choice but not the best, mabye Halle Berry, Bey

Love Whitney, but let's face it. Her daughter is not cute. She is named Bobbi because she looks just like Bobby Brown! right down to the tooth gap. Poor thing.

I don't think that it will be in her besr interest if she did with her mother just passing because it is still emotional for her and her feeling will be in the way so they should fine someone else who can protray her better with a nice voice who really can sing and not no one who can't.

NO--Bobbi Kristina shouldn't play her mother in a film....She hasn't sung or acted in a major way as of yet & I think it needs to be an accomplished STAR! Jennifer Hudson has the voice to portray Whitney, but I can't see her as Whitney--acting wise; I personally feel that Brandy Norwood would be a better fit; Brandy can sing & act. And another choice would be Monica--although I don't think she has any acting skills under her belt as of yet, but vocally, she could sing Whitney's songs! Rhianna is definitely all the way wrong to portray Whitney!

Three reasons: Bobby's Brown's nose, gap teeth and stature (height). An actress who plays Whitney needs to have that swan neck, be thin and tall with a lot of elegance as in Whitney's earlier career.

She's too short and she way NOT pretty enough. Whitney was a beautiful woman in appearance and was tall and graceful. Bobbi Kristina is not any of those things. She's attractive in her own right, but NO, I don't think she should play Whitney in a 'God forbid' biopic of her. I don't think anyone could play her, so perhaps they shouldn't do a movie about her.
