He should go to jail for being the root cause of the mortgage meltdown and should have to repay all the money his boyfriend at Fannie Mae embezelled.
He should GTFO!
Should Barney Frank get the job?

Financial executives and Capitol Hill colleagues who thought they had seen the last of sharp-tongued Rep. Barney Frank holding court from atop a congressional dais might face him again soon -- if only for a short while.
The outspoken Massachusetts Democrat, whose 16 terms in the House officially ended this week, said Friday he wanted to be the interim replacement for Sen. John Kerry.
Kerry (D-Mass.) has been nominated by President Obama to succeed Hillary Clinton as Secretary of State. If Kerry is confirmed, Massachusetts Gov. Deval Patrick, a Democrat, would appoint someone to hold the seat until a special election could be held a few months later. With Congress set to make major decisions on government spending cuts and raising the nation's debt ceiling this winter, Frank said he'd like to rejoin the fray.

He has already tried to destroy the nation's economy with "Dodd - Frank", what else does he want to do?
Previous to the housing bubble bursting, when innumerable economist were predicting the bubble's end, he kept saying "everything is fine", "everything is fine!" He continued to support Fannie in giving out thousands of loans to people who wouldn't have a payer of repaying them. All the while loudly fighting against the Bush administration's desire to move Fannie's oversight to the Treasury.
1. Economists saw the Housing crisis coming and saw that what Fannie Mae was making it worse. They advised the administration to slow down.
2. Frank (whose job it was to oversea Fannie) said the economist were wrong and that everything would be fine... repeatedly.
It was his call. He blew it.
