Shia LaBeouf has suddenly left the cast of the upcoming Broadway play "Orphans." The show, written by Lyle Kessler, was due to open on April 7 and star LaBeouf alongside Alec Baldwin and Tom Sturridge, but on February 20 producers announced that the "Transformers" star was leaving, due to "creative differences."
The plot has now thickened, as LaBeouf has posted a number of email exchanges surrounding the incident. One, from director Daniel Sullivan, suggests that the reason was a disagreement between Shia LaBeouf and Alec Baldwin.

The plot has now thickened, as LaBeouf has posted a number of email exchanges surrounding the incident. One, from director Daniel Sullivan, suggests that the reason was a disagreement between Shia LaBeouf and Alec Baldwin.

It reads: "I'm too old for disagreeable situations. you're one hell of a great actor. Alec is who he is. you are who you are. you two are incompatible. I should have known it. this one will haunt me. you tried to warn me. you said you were a different breed. I didn't get it. Dan"
However, one from Baldwin suggests that there is no bad blood between the two: "SL I've been through this before. It's been a while. And perhaps some of the particulars are different. But it comes down to the fact that what we all do now is critical. Perhaps especially for you. When the change comes, how do we handle it, whether it be good or bad? What do we learn? I don't have an unkind word to say about you. You have my word. AB" Do you think that Shia LaBeouf's departure was appropriate or unprofessional?

MissAdventure 2013/02/22 13:59:55Appropriate+7Shia LaBeouf doesn't have a record of quitting jobs, so I'm leaning towards his side on this one. Also, Alec Baldwin is an egomaniac and a first-rate horse's ass, so I doubt all his correspondence has been as rational as the one listed below....

They spoiled actors get bent out of shape when they have to act after a hang nail.
It is no wonder most of them are divorced several times - - they can't get along with anyone for any length of time!
If the guy signed on for the show.. he needs to "get over it", and abide by his contract - and his promise to the public to perform.
