I am seriously worried for Shawne. The San Diego Charger has decided to play despite his two torn ligaments in his left knee and doctors' warnings that another serious injury could potentially end his so far awesome career.
I can only imagine the competitive drive that would rationalize this kind of gamble. Sure there is the pressure to succeed that comes with the expectations for greatness this season, but Shawne is too great a talent to potentially squander for what can only be a sub-par season at best anyways.
Get the surgery and recover Shawne. You have too many great seasons ahead of you to lose if you lose this gamble.
