I believe a three way tie ! Sophia Loren, Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Taylor ! Your example, Laura Vanderhoot, is extremely hot and sexy but we will see if she can stand the test of time like the three I mentioned. True, there are a lot of runners up like Raquel Welch, Barbara Eden and Jane Seymore that have also stood the test but in my opinion they are just shy of the title.
And it's not just because she's gorgeous. Emma Stone is only 20 something and the girl can act just as well as some people who've been doing it for much longer. Emma Stone is simply incredible.
For the sexiest, I would have to say Marilyn Monroe. She certainly exuded that sexy feeling, and she truly is one of the biggest sex symbols in American history.
I do think that Jayne Mansfield was very sexy, too. She had that same sort of quality that Marilyn possessed.

When I think of pure beauty, though, I tend to picture Rita Hayworth. She was just absolutely gorgeous. Such a stunning woman.
