The Seattle Seahawks may have found their new franchise quarterback to lead them back to NFL prominence. Well, at least Seahawks nation hopes they do, considering they are only two years removed from their last NFC West Title. The Seahawks recently agreed to a three-deal worth $26 million with now-former Green Bay Packers backup quarterback Matt Flynn. The deal includes $10 million guaranteed.
Flynn may have only played in a couple of regular season games, but his incredible flashes of brilliance made many teams give him a look. In fact, in his last start, filling in for Aaron Rodgers, Flynn went 31-44 for six touchdowns and 518 passing yards -- a Packers franchise record -- against a hungry and dangerous Detroit Lions team.
Ironically, the Seahawks' last true franchise quarterback was Matt Hasselbeck, a former backup in Green Bay before joining the team. Can the Seahawks have great success with another former Green Bay quarterback? With a wide open NFC West division, we'll see who's for real next season.

Matt Flynn needs to be on a team where he can play!
GB cleaned up some guys bad reputation. Most notable, Andre Risen. He was 'spoiled' fruit. GB layed down how things run in GB.... Risen went from one who was boo'd due to his behavior and antics, to revered and cheered. only because he let his playing do the talking and not his mouth.
besides. green bay has Rodgers. how much could flynn have played
Wouldn't it be better to get a guy that has been around greatness and even played extremely well when brought into a high pressure situation over some show boat attitude right out of college?
