"A "puddle of HIV"? Is he saying that "Glee" is too gay?"
Travis, you're the one assuming HIV = Gay here.
I think he's referring more to the amount of sexualization that has been done recently (or so I hear, I refuse to watch such a terrible show) than HIV = Gay or something.
Because, after all, HIV isn't only for homosexuals.

What on earth was writer Bret Easton Ellis thinking when he tweeted the following to his 140,000 followers?

Ellis, author of the 1985 bestseller "Less Than Zero" and 1991's "American Psycho," is probably going to have some explaining to do in the next couple of days. A "puddle of HIV"? Is he saying that "Glee" is too gay? That it makes him sick?
Kurt Hummel would so not be amused!
This isn't the first celebrity-related "Glee" controversy: Creator Ryan Murphy had to apologize to rockers Kings of Leon after he lodged an f-bomb at them for refusing Murphy's request to use one of their songs.
Foo Fighters singer Dave Grohl also criticized Murphy for slamming
bands who didn't want their songs featured on Fox's hit musical comedy.
Not to mention Victoria Jackson, former "SNL" cast member, who bashed the show for cramming gay-ness down our throats.

Nice goin', Quibbler (or whatever your last name is that I don't care enough about to correct so :P).
Every minority seems to comb twitter looking for things to offend them so they can cry about it to the media.
I used to watch Glee. I loved the entertainment, the riffs on different music genres. I never cared too much for any of the characters because they are all basically shallow and self obsessed. The entertainment factor was still there though.
I stopped watching at the mid point this season. The show is supposed to be about being inclusive and the struggles a number of different types of people go through. This pretty much has all been stopped in favor of gay gay gay all day long. Don't get me wrong, I'm typically sympathetic to gay causes and becoming comfortable with who you are. But there is a point where you lose me - where it becomes the only topic of conversation - where everyone that looks crosseyed at a gay person is a homophobe to be lynched - where rhetoric and plot get so heavy handed that it becomes ridiculous.
Glee jumped that shark.
