Critics are mostly blah about "Green Lantern" -- and Ryan Reynolds' performance as Hal Jordan, the first human ever selected to wear the Green Lantern ring.

"Green Lantern" is most likely going to rule the box office this weekend ... but that doesn't mean it's a good movie.
So far, critics are mostly "blah" about the comic-book flick -- and its lead actor.
"For an actor so often praised for his down-to-earth demeanor, larger-than-life may simply lie outside of Ryan Reynolds' range," writes a critic for Hollywood.com.
Reynolds plays Hal Jordan, the first human ever selected to wear the Green Lantern ring (who is responsible for saving planet Earth, of course).
While The Washington Post acknowledges that Reynolds' physique "seems otherworldly" (he is the Sexiest Man Alive, after all), their issue lies mainly with the dated DC Comic itself.

Can't comment on most of the others, since I haven't seen them.
I can't see why Ryan Reynolds or Christian Bale would be on this list, they are not the worst of superheroes, but most of the problem with Reynolds was the too much CGI and poor plot in Green Lantern, while he was fine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and Blade 2. Christian Bale maybe not impressive as Bruce Wayne, but good as Batman. However, Micheal Keaton wasn't great at
Bruce Wayne either, in fact got worse in his sequel.

Sodahead, you forgot to mention Shaquille O'Neal, Dolph Lundgren, the cast of the original Fantastic Four (1994), Nicholas Cage (even though I thought he was fine, just other problems), George Clooney, Chris O'Donnell, Val Kilmer, Helen Slater, Matt Salinger (1990 Captain America), and Eric Bana/CGI Hulk (2003) as worst of superheroes.
Arnold is annoying....so yea...
Christian Bale never convinced me as Batman. Good actor but I thought he was wrong for the part.
I would say Christian Bale, but The Dark Knight, and Batman Begins are pretty good movies.
