After he won Olympic gold during the Summer Games in London, Ryan Lochte set his sights on Hollywood. He made guest starring appearances on “90210” and “30 Rock.” And rumors started to fly that he would be the next “Bachelor.” That gig went to Sean Lowe and Lochte seemed adrift in the waters of Tinseltown.

But now comes word that the champion swimmer will have his own reality TV show called “What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" The answer is a lot of things that most other people wouldn’t.
The 28-year-old will be seen training with his coach Gregg Troy. He’ll hang with his mother, siblings and nephews. Fans will see his collection of over 150 pairs of sneakers. Oh, and he’ll hit the club scene in his hometown of Gainesville, Florida. Given the fact that his mom famously called him out for being a one-night stand kind of guy, that part of the show will most undoubtedly bring a lot of drama.

It’s difficult to see if the world class athlete has what it takes to make riveting TV. But E! Entertainment President Suzanne Kolb believes in Lochte’s charm. At the recent Television Critics Association event in Pasadena, California, she acknowledged, “Watching this show, I believe people will fall into three categories: They want to be him, sleep with him or mother him.” As Lochte would say, “Jeah!” Will you watch?

So the guy was a guest appearance on ''30 Rock'' to which I have yet to watch that show, or in the next Bachelor. Again, haven't watched these shows and I don't plan to start anytime soon.

Other than training and looking at his sneaker collection, these things don't sound unusual.
Was "a lot of things that most other people wouldn’t." supposed to be sarcasm or is it just hyperbole?
