Roseanne Barr 2012? That's right. The actress-turned-nut-farmer is officially running for President of the United States as part of the Green Party. Find out what's on her political agenda at 1:30 in the video below!

With Donald Trump teasing with a presidential run and Stephen Colbert playing up the satirical side of his candidacy, this election has been seriously lacking in left-field celebrity campaigns. Well, have no fear... Roseanne Barr is here! (Hey. That should be her tag line.) Anyway, the '90s sitcom star, currently working on a reality show about her Hawaiian nut farm, announced that she would be joining the presidential race as a Green Party contender.

According to Hollywood Gossip, her platform more-or-less revolves around the legalization of marijuana. Well, she might get Snoop Dogg's endorsement, but that's not exactly a holistic vision. She'll also have a tough time explaining a 2001 Larry King interview where she admitted to suffering from multiple personality disorder. Oh, and there was that whole National Anthem thing in 1990. Yeah, good luck with all that, Roseanne.

Ms. Barr can be and is ocassionally funny, but she needs to shut up, sit down and count her residual checks instead of making a mockery of our political system. she knows damn well she cannot win an election for this office because she couldn't trust a person who would vote for her let alone serve the rest of the country.

Republican - Green? She's got to know that anything with the word 'green' in it is automatically in a non-start position. Knowing this, makes her getting any support from independent and right inclined voters impossible. Therefore, she's willfully wasting everyone's time.

I would like to see her run as Obama's VP, however. That way we would be certain she isn't going to water down the vote for anyone else. One-issue-candidates don't carry much weight. Only obsessive pot-heads will vote for her and they were likely going to be unreliable voters anyway. When she can sing the National Anthem properly, I will take her a bit more seriously. And people had the nerve to criticize Reagan because he had been an actor?
