The Rolling Stones' first concerts since 2007 are already causing controversy, although the first show in the series isn't scheduled to happen until November. The four dates -- two at London's 02 Arena (November 25 and 29) and two at Newark, NJ's Prudential Center (December 13 and 15) -- have angered fans with their shockingly high ticket prices.
Tickets for the London shows range from £107 ($172) to a staggering £406 ($650). However, despite this, eager fans bought up all the available tickets in just seven minutes. When you've sold over 200 million records, it seems you can just charge anything you want!
The mini-tour commemorates the 50th anniversary of the first-ever Rolling Stones concert, marks the first time the band have played together in five years, and also sees the return of ex-bass player Bill Wyman. In a statement, lead singer Mick Jagger commented, "Everybody loves a celebration, and London and New York are two good places to do it in!"

Flamingolady 2012/10/20 12:58:23Barbra Streisand+8$1500 for a ticket to see Barbara Streisand? My eyeballs needed to be put back in over that one! If I had an extra $650, it would be worth it to see The Stones, and if I had $400 I would love to see Bon Jovi. But you tube is much more accessible and free, so I will watch them there. But never have I watched a Streisand video, and can't imagine I ever will.

of these active artists are priced way too high. Especially when the present condition of
the economy is taken into consideration. And they're definenately priced well out of MY
reach at the present time. I hope that not only that the economy improves fast and soon,
but also that both these artists and those greedy concert promoters come to their senses
and start pricing things back within reach of all of us little people. Concerts must never be
allowed to become a privelege that is strictly reserved for the rich, famous, powerful, and
the otherwise well to do. And if it already has, then steps need to be taken to address this,
and reverse this unacceptable situation.
