That's right. If any one says rock 'n' roll is dead in this day and age need to stop listening to mainstream pop music and go listen to some great bands we have around today like Muse, Dope Stars Inc, Opeth, Jet, Snow Patrol, Within Temptation, Lacuna Coil, Jack Johnson, Porcupine Tree, Seasick Steve, In Flames, Phish, Rammstein and 3 Doors Down to name but a few.

But it's never going to be like it was in our youth....the 70's and 80's will never be back :(

I don't think anyone that people take seriously is proposing that.

It was the title of a song. Remember AC/DC?

Some of it is. Even when I was a teen there was a lot of it I did not like because it was just percussion noise. Most of it is good but as you get old, you know you know you don't need to listen to anything over 60DB or good bye hearing.

I think it died in 1994, was buried underground, and true rock n' roll lovers went underground with it to enjoy its memory.
