The latest Robsten news: Robert Pattinson was reportedly weeks away from proposing to Kristen Stewart when he learned that she had cheated on him with her married "Snow White" director.

"Friends of Robert have told us that this was the woman that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with and he was actually very close to proposing when he heard about the affair," reports Dina Sansing of Us Weekly magazine.

We're also hearing that the 22-year-old never slept with the 41-year-old father of two. But even if the "momentary indiscretion" was just a kiss, R-Patz seems to be pretty PO'd about it (and rightfully so). People reports that Pattinson and Stewart have both left the Los Angeles home they shared and are living separately elsewhere -- and not speaking to each other.

It is over. The trust is gone, and even though he may love her still, he cant trust her to not do it again. He needs to let her go.

Well, it definitely broke HIS heart when she cheated on him. Trust when lost, is a very difficult thing to get back.

It was a lot more than just a kiss, and if there wasn't sex, it came mighty close to it. Also, it had been going on for awhile. I think that he will find it hard to trust her again. She really blindsided him and held him up to public ridicule. I think that he's done with her
