Robert Pattinson 'Kind of' Talks About Kristen Stewart on 'The Daily Show': Did He Handle Himself Well?

Robert Pattinson and Jon Stewart talked about ice cream and break-ups on "The Daily Show" -- without ever mentioning Kristen Stewart by name. During the interview, the funny man host offered R-Pattz Ben & Jerry's ice cream, and kidded that they were "just two gals catching up."

"Listen, the last time I had a bad breakup, Ben and Jerry got me through. So I thought you and I could bond over this and talk about, 'Boy, you are better off. Kick her to the curb!'" Stewart joked.

Pattinson, appearing in his first TV interview since K-Stew cheated on him with married "Snow White" director Rupert Sanders, also quipped in the interview: "My biggest problem in life is that I'm cheap. I didn't hire a publicist."

Stewart closed the interview by offering 26-year-old R-Patz some advice: "When you are young and break up, it's powerful and it feels like the world is ending. This is the first time, I have seen the world actually react that way. It's insanity. Here's my wish for you -- that you get to handle your business in private, in your personal life. I wish you the best." Do you think Pattinson handled the interview well? Or should he have said more (or less) about the break-up?

Okay, and? I know what an interview is... Doesn't change the fact that no one should care about what these celebrities say, do, or feel. The definition of an interview doesnt require that it is meaningless and irrelevent to everyone else.

No one should care but they obviously do care. The sell tons of magazines with celebrity trash and shows that do nothing but talk about what celebrities wear eat date etc. It's relevant because people want to know regardless if it's useless information. The only reason he's being interviewed in the first place is because he's famous not because he's going to give us insightful information. Having any other expectation would be absurd. Even you, someone who thinks no one should care about his love life, has contributed to this unnecessary attention towards his love life by clicking on this question and participating.
