Robert Pattinson has a critically acclaimed movie ("Cosmopolis") coming out this summer. And as he leaves the "Twilight" saga behind, he has four words for you: Don't call him R-Patz.
"When I got this part," he tells The Guardian, "every single article that came out, was, 'R-Patz's struggle for credibility!'; I don't understand who invented that thing, 'R-Patz', I want to strangle them. But once you've made that step, everything afterwards is not like, 'R-Patz's continuing struggle for credibility!' You've got to come up with something else, so it gets a little bit easier."
Just like broody Edward Cullen, R-Patz (excuse us, Pattinson) seems unsure about his fame and talent. "I don't really know how accepted I am," the 26-year-old says. "Nothing ever matters to me apart from the people with negative opinions. That's literally it. That always drives me on to the next thing.
"I've never really taken myself seriously as an actor," he continues. "It is surprising the amount of people who think I'm going to be really dumb. I think they think anyone who has done teen movies is just an idiot. I don't know, maybe I am."

Actors have a name they go by professionally, so why give them a nickname when you don't know them personally? It seems like a desperate attempt to sound like you're "in the know" when you're just calling them something stupid.
All of the names are stupid, but Brangelina is the worst becase, while Bennifer started this insanity, Brangelina took it to the forefront of everyone's mind and decided that any big couple needed a name meld, which evolved into giving some popular celebrities silly nicknames for no reason. Is it easier to say "R-Patz" or "K-Stew" than it is to say Robert Pattinson or Kristen Stewart? Sure, but you sound stupid when you say it.
